1.    In your opinion, why does the public seem to have an insatiable appetite for stories about celebrities? Do you?

2.    Is there a vast array of magazines that focus on celebrities in Spain? Do you ever read any of such magazines? What about gossip programmes on TV? Do you ever watch them?

3.    What differences can you tell between different gossip programmes o different gossip magazines? What different perspectives on celebrity lives do they show? Do any of them focus on celebrities' religious or political beliefs? Which ones try to catch them in casual clothes or without make-up?

4.    Why may a picture of a star in a bad temper be more valuable than a studio shot?

5.    Can you mention any household names having behaved badly recently?

6.    Do you think that public scrutiny is the price of fame? Should there be a  price to be paid?

7.    What stories in the popular press can you remember that turned out to be untrue?
